12-week Training programs

Diversity in your workforce is important for more reasons than I’m going to into now. Another need for diversity is with your trainers. You may have gathered we are currently running a 12-week program for a customer to develop a new pool of operators for the waste industry.

These last few weeks Optimal Site Performance (OSP) has engaged the services of John Merlo and Chris Nolan to complement Liz Spooner and Rob McGahey increasing the breadth of knowledge shared with the new team. OSP has used practical, theoretical, and simulators to accelerate team learning showing real results.

So just remember, while a single voice may be good for clarity of message, multiple perspectives increase learning possibilities. If you want to hear more about what can be done for your team, please reach out to Rob, or visit our Contact page to get in touch.

We are 6 weeks into our first ever Machine Operator Academy for Women! Academy Manager Chelsea English said, “Our dedicated trainers have been busy teaching cadets about dozers, compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, articulated trucks and material handlers. Using a range of equipment on both our Ballarat and Melbourne Regional Landfills, our team are feeling more confident by the day and it shows in the way they operate! Fantastic work ladies!”
